A warm reception for the new StackPacker at IBA!
Wow! 😍 The StackPacker received a lot of positive feedback and happy faces over the past week at IBA! Both the visitors at IBA and our own colleagues warmly welcomed this new packaging machine, which neatly and gently stacks various bakery products, layer by layer, bag-in-box. We demonstrated it for the first time at IBA!
When developing a new solution, we used to consider the market and the customer's needs in advance, but it's always exciting to introduce a brand-new machine to a broader audience. Do companies recognize the added value of this new machine? And is there a genuine willingness to invest? That remains to be seen in practice. The introduction of the machine at the exhibition gives a good indication of it!

The question
A robot pick-and-place line for stacking bread rolls, donuts, or Berliners bag-in-box is a fantastic solution, for sure. But a robot pick-and-place line is also a significant investment in terms of money and square footage. Can't it be done differently? This question set our Research & Development team in motion.
The solution
By thinking differently and out of the box, the concept for the StackPacker was born. With the ultimate goal in mind - namely, to neatly and gently stack products layer by layer in a box - the packaging needs and requirements were examined. The result is a compact machine, absolutely perfect for the job! The products are positioned above the box by a conveyor belt and then gently laid down to ensure optimal condition upon packing. In some cases, this solution makes it possible to replace an expensive pick and place robot.
