That’s why we’ve taken a fresh look at one of our flagship machines, the CombiPlast, and given it a powerful upgrade!
With valuable user feedback and a sharp eye on our production process, we’ve updated the CombiPlast. The result? The CombiPlast C500 – a future-ready machine that saves our customers time and money. Perfect for companies looking to streamline and optimize their packaging process.
The CombiPlast is at its best in packaging lines where boxes need to be erected and automatically inserted with bags – a key process for industries such as bakeries and food processing. At Niverplast, we make repetitive tasks simpler and keep processes running smoothly. The CombiPlast delivers a solid productivity boost and lower packaging costs for our customers.
The improvements
The new CombiPlast C500 offers:
Modular design
- Valves and sensors are now directly integrated into the module, requiring just one cable and air hose to the control cabinet. This makes the machine more organized and significantly cuts installation time.
- No left or right configurations: We now use a single module that fits both left- and right-hand machine setups. For a leftward output, the Z-axis with spreader unit is positioned on the exit tunnel side, and for a right-hand machine, it’s positioned on the box setup side.
Speed improvement on X-axis
Servo control over the X-axis allows the motion that picks up the bag from the bag magazine to operate quickly, without requiring compressed air.
Increased internal machine height
We’ve raised the internal height by 50 mm, enabling the CombiPlast C500 to handle higher box sizes without additional adjustments
Improved transportability
The overall machine height is now lower, allowing the CombiPlast to fit into a shipping container without dismantling the head; a cost-effective choice for transport.
Optimized hardware and software
The CombiPlast C500 now runs on Beckhoff systems by default, ensuring smooth integration with existing production lines and reduced operating costs.
