CherryPlast: born from teamwork, built for speed

A few months ago, we were asked a simple but challenging question: “Would you be able to develop four CherryPlasts on top of your already full schedule?” Shortly after, the follow-up came: “We could actually sell five… would that be possible too?” The answer was unanimous: of course we can!

From EasyPlast to CherryPlast

While the CherryPlast is based on the well-known EasyPlast bag placing concept, it’s a completely new machine at its core. It features a redesigned conveyor system capable of handling a wide range of box sizes, including the low, delicate trays used for cherries.

Another wish for this machine was more bag capacity, so our engineers redesigned the bag magazine. It can now hold five bundles per side, allowing for longer, uninterrupted production.

Built with passion, tested with pride

When testing began, we were a bit nervous. Would it run smoothly? Would there be surprises? To our delight, the CherryPlast exceeded expectations! It ran smoothly, reliably and faster than we imagined. The result: a machine that’s stable, user-friendly and incredibly fast. Under ideal conditions, speeds of up to 30 boxes per minute have been achieved. The machine is designed to support the customer’s goals of ensuring longer shelf life and minimizing product damage, keeping every cherry in perfect condition.

Ready for the upcoming cherry season

The CherryPlasts, together with the previously developed CherrySeals, have been shipped to Chile, where preparations for the cherry season are in full swing. The machines are now being installed and tested on-site to ensure they’re ready to join the packaging lines for the upcoming cherry harvest.
