5 steps
How it works
Film supply
The film roll is clamped on the shaft between two cones. The drum motor on the film roll supplies film to the buffer, which starts the process.
Form shoulder
The forming shoulder converts the supplied film into a tubular shape. The size of the shoulder is determined by the size of the bags.
Length seal
The film is transported over the filling pipe. The next step is pressing the vertical sealing bar onto the seam for the length seal.
Horizontal seals
Now the horizontal seam is sealed to form the bottom of the bag. At the same time, the closing seam of the previous bag is formed an the knife cuts both bags apart.
Product supply
During horizontal sealing, the products are added to the bag via the filling pipe. When the batch is ready, step 4 will repeat and so on.
Customize your SEPP
Options
- With a fixed vertical filling position (SEPP90) or with a filling position of 45°(SEPP45). A version between vertical and each position till 45° is also possible. Any inclined SEPP can always be put vertical to change the format(motor operated).
