Unpacking and crushing cocoa blocks
For this unique case the assigment was to crush the cocoa butter so it could be used for production. Our One-off team found the solution! The boxes are being cut open with small knives on the sides and bottom of the box. Which after the boxes are being crushed by two rollers, which will make the blocks of cocoa butter break. The robot will pick up the box and places it above the conveyor. It will then press the product (including bag) thru the box out on the conveyor. The box will stick to the robot due to sharp tips, the robot then discard these boxes on a different conveyor.
