Make packing a piece of cake? Uhm… We mean pita! In this line we show what we do best: helping our customers packing their unequal products bag-in-box. Whether it is cake or pita bread!
At the start of this project, our customer challenged us to eliminate a few bottlenecks in their process. Briefly, what they wanted was:
1. Only use of machine fingers, no human fingers
By automating the packaging process, it is possible to rule out manual handling. The only necessary fingers, are the smart batch fingers of the machine.
2. Always the right amount in a box
3. Reducing the failure rates
By collecting data with vision, all data on deviations are detected and logged. In this way, quality improvement in the entire process is easier to achieve. In addition to being able to monitor and improve the internal baking process, Niverplast guarantees that during the entire packaging process 99.8% of products end up in the box correctly!
Return on investment (ROI)
The calculated ROI of this packaging line is estimated to be less than two years. This means that the cost of the investment will be recovered within two years.
