Before these tasty kaiser rolls end up on a plate, they already traveled a long way!
This kaiser roll packaging line processes an average of 30.000 kaiser rolls per hour. They are counted by camera before being split into batches by the seperating fingers. The correct number of rolls are caught by the box, which is neatly fitted with a bag. In this line it’s possible to easily switch between bulk and VFFS packages. And also very important; it treats the kaiser rolls very gently, which is extra nice for the ones with seeds on them!
